Not a lot seems to be happening about fixing it, but here's a bit more information. I too have had the problem and haven't been able to figure out exactly how to fix it but today I think I might have narrowed it down to the UPStudio slicer. I had a couple of parts that just would not print out no matter what I tried .... different layer heights, orientation, etc, so out of desperation I gave up on the latest 2.6.20.627 and tried the very old 2.18 original software that came with the first machines, and just then it worked perfectly.
So whatever the problem is, it's almost certain to be in the UPStudio software.

Re: The stopping mid-print problem
I dusted off my Up Plus 2 a week ago. I used to use it and an Afinia H479 some 6-8 years ago, and I only ever ran it with the Up! software. So I'm starting over with the (newer) Up Studio Software. I am also running into the mid-print-stopping problem. I am trying to methodically run through various versions and also get to the root cause of the stopping.
Like others, my Up Plus 2 stops mid print with no notification, no warning, no explanation, nothing: it just stops mid print, with the heated bed and extruder hot end maintaining a hot temperature and the stepper motors holding their locked position and the printer becoming unresponsive.
I am running Windows 10 64 bit. I am only running 64 bit versions of Up Studio.
So far, I have noticed:
1. V2.23.23.135. No mid-stop problem, but infill never works. It forces every print to be 100% solid everything, despite infill settings.
2. V2.4.22.351. No mid-stop, but infill never works. Only prints 100% solid everything, despite infill settings.
3. V2.5... cannot install. Midway through installation, it rolls itself back with some message I don't recall. I haven't actually used this version because I cannot successfully install it.
4. V2.6.49.627 (current as of 12JUN2020). Infill works! But it stops mid print. Thus far I have tested the following, using the canned cube models in the software
4.1 Infill setting: "no infill top or bottom." 0.15mm normal stops. 0.20mm normal stops. 0.25mm normal stops.
4.2 Infill setting: 13%: 0.2mm success.
4.3 Infill setting: 15%: 0.15mm success. 0.20mm success.
4.4 Infill setting: 20%: 0.2mm success.
That's all I have for now.

Re: The stopping mid-print problem
I just tried it again and failed: infill setting: 20%: 0.2mm extrusion. It was a 3 hour long print and it failed at about 2 hours in. Talk about frustrating.
