The link below is also a nice read, turns out the models (Raspberry Pi) they showed with the Cube at TCT weren't even printed on the Cube but on a BFB! :shock:

Yep, the most of the Cubify stuff I see has models that have clearly not been printed on the Cubify machine they are sat next to!

Shame about the negative review of the ppd3p stand :cry:

Yeah it's a pity, people should compare those cube models with models printed on an up.

And I still don't know how much ABS is in those ''chip locked'' cartridges from the Cube..

Yeah, I saw a similar estimate on cost for Cubify here:

I was considering a Cubify before I dug in and did the research about filament cost. Not to mention the talk that the filament cartridges were chipped to track use, etc. Even sticking with Delta Micro approved filament that's a 2.4x cost savings!

So glad I bought an Up!
