3D Printed FunBlocks

Having fun creating 3D printed Legos.

If you use Rhino and Grasshopper I wrote a script that generates lego blocks parametrically as you drag the sliders aroudn, fast and easy.

fun project to keep the kids occupied.

Amazing work! This is so far away from the direct modeling I do in SolidWorks, and shows how versatile 3d-printing can be...

Would you happen to have come by anything like this but with meccano?

ftdesigns thanks currently working on these already finished it. Will be making a mold of the top cover to then cast in clear with orange dye to match concept rendr.

You actually have a 3D printed prototype of the whole thing?

I’m making bricks and Legos, too; I’m thinking of making my own version of Bumble bee using yellow ABS filament. Btw, how many spools of filaments did you consume in this project?

I bought the black filament from RadioShack 1000kg I don't buy the 700kg not worth the price tag. I was able to print two of those and still have to print other projects.
I will be purchasing another black roll as someone wants to order one from me.
