Blossoming lamp by Emmett

Post by pp3dp.nl » Sat Jan 05, 2013 10:23 pm

Most of you know some things designed by Emmett I think. I had to try the blossoming lamp and it came out great! On the Up Plus I had to scale it down to 87%, I used 0.20 mm layers and white ABS. I couldn't find thin enough LED lights so I tried 7 Watt switch board light bulbs and an E14 fitting. Luckily it doesn't get too hot to melt anything and 7 W is bright enough.

The files can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37926

Everybody should try to print this :D

Wow, that is an amazing print. Now just to have a light sensor and motor, so it opens and switches on when dark.
