lamp shade

a lamp shade made in 4 quaters for a school project I will post a picture of the finished project when done it is also on thingivers

there where some problems with the inishal file I fixed using netfabb

the shap was made using a combination of our schools cad program ProDesk top to get the overall shape them 3d studio max to produce the cellure effect by beveling the faces in the stl file that prodesktop projucest

the shape prited with supports set to 10 deggress see below

That's a nice design and really pushing the printing envelope. Really nice work.

thanks I was amased how well it printed with the lowest level of supports sinse the printer is on display at school there was almost always a crow of intrested onlookers and the art department have become intrested ( It inthe design departmet)
