Finger press engine

Post by DickL » Fri Nov 01, 2013 2:49 pm

Hi
I'm using TurboCAD as my design program. It is the most difficult software I have ever tried to use. I was not getting anywhere until I found the mechanical tutorial by textualcreations. It take you keystroke by keystroke through the entry of the finger press engine. After I entered the engine, I naturally, printed it. I made some mods and printed it again. All the parts except the screws were made on my printer.

I cannot recommend TurboCAD to anyone. I only have it because I found a web site that sells older versions at a very good price.

Hi
I'll see if I can get the picture file smaller.

I agree, TurboCAD is user-hostile. I haven't had much better luck with ViaCAD either.

I use SolidWorks 2012 since I pretty much do mechanical engineering and my day job supplies it.
Every model is water tight with no issues through the printer.

Use Autodesk Inventor works well has a special 3d print output with fine tuning adjustments
