Thank you for the files, I don't have an UP printer yet, but appreciate the work and detail in this model. Hopefully at sometime in the near future I will get to build this wonderful model

Hi m_bergman
I have just downloaded the cathedral files and instructions .
Once again I am in awe at the amount of time you must have invested in the project, and your modelling skills.
You are extremely generous to share this with other UP!ers.
I would have more expected to see it offered on the Marketplace page with a modest charge on it.
It may take me a while to get to actually printing and assembling it, but then I may print off a part or two each day.
It would make a great Christmas present for relatives who enjoy models. In fact, I just thought of someone, so, I am now going to warm up my great little (BLUE) up!
Once again, absolutely fantastic work.
Thank you.
Regards
Lawrence

Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic work with the community. I'm curious - why not ThingiVerse?

Time. I can upload to my ftp quite quickly. Setting up Thingiverse account and uploading all the files has taken me a couple of hours. Anyway, it's up there now, along with the parasolid files.

It's already garnered some very nice comments. It will be a gross injustice if it doesn't end up being "featured"!

I've had the filament for a while now, and yes I have noticed it "dries out". Kinda the opposite to PLA I guess. Although this doesn't seem to effect printing, just makes it brittle. I have heard you can return it to a more supple form by putting it in a humid environment. Not sure if you could dunk it in water quickly and let that soak in. Probably a few things to experiment with I guess.

In computing, an executable file causes a computer "to perform indicated tasks according to encoded instructions, rather than a data file to be analyzed by a program to be meaningful.
