Gyroid Zonohedron finally !

Post by wilsonj » Fri Aug 24, 2012 11:36 pm

Well it took a little trial and error to get this, and I still had a part on one side that frayed a little. (other side obviously!)

Over all it came out well. I tried reducing the support angle to 10 degrees, but that didn't work, so I settled on:

30 degrees
.2mm
fine
space 8lines and area 15mm2
Print time ~18 hours

on the table, with lots of support

after 45min clean up

Big thanks to Dizingof!!! again.

Thanks.

Its the blue I sell.

This was the longest print I have done to date, but it only used 45g. I'm glad I didn't try it the night before though, as we had a power failure!

Good luck on the skull, I look forward to seeing it when its done.

Thats not much aye must have been back and forwards or you use a slow speed.

The skull is an 8 hour print but its 100grams. Im printing fast mode on the most hollow selection.

Im printing in white cause i have white to use up. Ill paint it later because all the detail wont be seen in white
