Is it possible to change nozzle temperature?

Post by Hadyn » Wed Jan 24, 2018 10:46 am

Hi all,

New user & first time using one of these 3D printer thingies.

I'm using a UP Plus 2 printer. I've got it working fine and how I like it when using the normal plastic which came with the printer (ABS I think it's called? Still learning the names)

The issue I'm having is that what we are actually using this printer for is to print specific parts which are made of carbon material.
We've got some material which works with the printer. However the temperature of the nozzle is too hot for this material and anything printed is all wonky.

My question is, is it possible anywhere to change the nozzle temperature? I've looked through the manual, UPStudio & on google and I can't seem to find anything.

If not, anyone know if this feature will be added in the future? The ability to do this is essential for us.

Hi, yes this feature has been included for about a year now.

You need to set a custom material type, then whenever you chose that material the bed and nozzle temps will be set accordingly.

This can be found under "Maintenance" menu and then selecting "Customized" as the material type.

Hope that helps,
