Yellow ABS+ Different Colours?

Hi folks.

I've just printed some parts in Yellow ABS+ and noticed too late that the two rolls used were very different yellows. Both rolls are marked with the PN C13-05, but one is a bright "lemon" yellow where as the other is a more toned down yellowy-orange.

Putting the components together looks horrible. :o

Consistent colour must be one of the main reasons to buy branded UP filament.

Does anyone know if the colour changed permanently, of if there is a funny batch floating about. I'm pretty sure the lemon is the newer stock.

Cheers,

Owen S.

If you add red to yellow then one step before tangerine is marigold, the warmest of the yellows.

If you find a reliable supplier, tell us

Hmm, next upgrade for the UP-Bot could be a new 5 filament extruder head to mix RGB colours of your choice on demand at the print nozzle...
