not buying a cetus, for now

Post by Arie55 » Fri Dec 28, 2018 1:07 pm

I dicided not to buy a Cetus 3D mk3. It would become be my first 3d printer. The reason is the almost 20% more for the shipping. My advice is, precent a all in price, included shipping. And also the uncertenty of the possible brexit. Then there will be no shipping from inside Europe.

Hello ,

We didnt set a all in price due to the different shipping fees rate to various countries, and also by adding shipping fee, customers can choose their shipping way according to their conditions, fast ways or economic ways, Brexit will not affect the shipping inside Europe that shouldnt be worried about.

Prices of (good) 3D printers are so low people complain about shipping. Is that a good or a bad thing?

So if the price was 20% higher with free shipping it would be all good :ugeek:

Yes a kindred spirit. :D :D :D

There is no such thing as "Free Shipping" only "Shipping Included in Price".

It's like buying a pair of shoes in a sale. If the list price is $500 and you buy them in a sale at $250, have you saved $250? If so your bank balance should be $250 higher after the transaction...

you missing the point. If you buy a product and at the cash desk they say, you have to pay for ... what ever. It is not allowed here in the Netherlands. If you see a price, that is the price where you buy the product for.

Same here in the UK in physical shops but harder for online retailers. With some snooping at you network traffic the TT website could probably work out that you're in the netherlands. (the warehouse is in the UK so it can work out that you need to ship it between countries.) Not sure how it would decide if you want cheap slow shipping or expensive expedited shipping though?

It's worse in the States. Shops shop prices on the shelves before adding the tax, and the tax is different in every state you go to. Grrrrr.
