Hi Owens,
This is implemented in the release of the Material Profile Manager, where you can adjust the Peel Ratio to the value that fits the model.
Thanks

Hey Owen,
Good to see you back, and nice feedbacks as well.
We will explore more alliances with filament vendors, would also support fan based filament inputs.
Will see you at TCT, booth K44.

Re: UP Studio 2.5 BETA Released, with Material Profile Manager
Hi Brunningm, Thank you for your input. One direction that we are heading to is the industrial market, which opens up many possibilities using different materials with very distinctive properties by many vendors. Some of the materials can work without any tuning on Tiertime's machines, but majority ...

Re: How to print with a USB memory stick?(UP mini2 ES)
Hi BOM, Thank you for your post, the very first one on the forum for mini 2 ES. To answer your question, the feature, printing TSK file directly from a USB stick, was planned to release along with the new machine launch as usual. However, our team found a serious bug which caused the total withdrawa...

Re: Create Custom Filament Profile in UP Studio
Sorry guys,
This new feature will be part of the next release. Elaine was releasing it, the image, ahead of schedule.
It will be a nice feature for supporting more and more types of filaments in the future and fine tune them.
Thank you
Joseph

Hi 3DWP,
Sorry for the disappointment.
I can send a feature request in our internal wanted-list, but I can not guarantee it will get added to the list, or when it will be ready if accepted.

Hi 3DWP,
I do not believe the gcode will get supported in the lower version firmware. The best option in my opinion is to upgrade your CPU.

Re: New software available! UP Studio Version 2.4.22.351
Hi BrunningM, You are correct. The nozzle height and 9 point leveling data are specific to THE target printer, not the parameters in the printer profile. The calculation for slicing is independent of THE target printer, which makes the slicing result shareable among compatible printers (printer prof...

Re: New software available! UP Studio Version 2.4.22.351
Hey Owen, The Task file contains the pre-sliced layer data, so you do not need to slice the STL again. As long as your printer profile matches the printer profile in the Task file, you can print it directly from the Task file. You can save the Task file in a USB stick, so the printer can print it di...

Sorry for the delayed update.

Thank you

Re: How often shall we replace the air filter of the Up Box+?
Hi,
PLA is much better when it comes to toxic fume while printing.
However, no one's PLA is pure PLA without additives. Having an air filter will help clean the air no matter what material you use.

Re: How often shall we replace the air filter of the Up Box+?
Hi,
The air filter is mainly for ABS.
Octave sells many different materials from different vendors, and please be aware, all different brands of ABSs are not made equally. Some can generate more odor than the others. So, for ABS printing, it is better to have filters as a feature.

Re: What is the different between Afinia H800+ sold in North America and Up Box+?
Hi,
There is no big difference between H800+ and BOX+. Besides they have different look, the H800+ software has limited features compared with UP Studio, and there are also some minor features in the hardware that Afinia chose to have.
Overall they are the same machines.
