Though the number of 3D files are not as extensive as Thingiverse yet it's good to have an alternative..

Thanks roller. I am still very new to the reprap style 3D printer and still learning to use one. Thank you for the explanation.

Colour blending extruder?
One of the thing I like about the Reprap community is that they keep innovating. While we are still doubting botObjects claim, the Reprap community, in particular Adrian Bowyer and Myles Corbett, has already achieved some colorful results with their colour blending extruder development. Below is one...

Re: How is STARATASYS uPrint Plus compared with the UP! Plus
So, even with the latest version of the software, the print quality of CubeX is still not good. If I want something with equal of better print quality than the Up Plus but larger build volume and faster, which printer do you recommend? Maybe we can wait for this http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...

Re: How is STARATASYS uPrint Plus compared with the UP! Plus
Today, I got a chance to see Objet30, Connex350, Connex 500, Dimension, uPrint Plus and Mojo in action at a machinery exhibition in my country. I got to compare the samples from all the printer and personally for me, the quality of uPrint and Mojo printed object is better than our Up Plus. Well, the...

Re: New Up Plus 2 is Coming...
Hi teamcarlisle The hardware improvements appear to be only easier leveling and calibrating. These are good improvements and will be appreciated by new customers, but when I only need to adjust the height and leveling only occasionally, and then it takes only a couple of minutes, I don't see any ne...

Re: New Up Plus 2 is Coming...
Like Roller mentioned, current Up Plus owner can use the new software. But we will not be able to use at least 2 new features, Auto Level and Nozzle Height Detect, as it will need a special hardware attached to the back of the platform as you can see in the picture.

Re: New Up Plus 2 is Coming...
No change to the build size but I was told there is already a bigger Up Plus in the pipeline, maybe we have to wait for next year. Anyway, some of the new features for the software version UP1.19 are as follows: 1. Platform level calibration by software. 2. Remove the raft height option. Optimize fo...

I went to my local distributor office today and guess what..they were testing the new Up Plus 2 which they received a few days ago. They were also testing the software version 1.19 beta. The only thing I can tell is it comes with an automatic platform calibration. You can contact your local distribu...
