Re: BUG REPORT V2.18 WIN 10 many crashes

Hi darkwins and thanks for the reply. It doesn't happen on everything but happens a lot. It's always at exactly the same place. Click OK on the print preview window and information is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen. In this instance 269 of 269 layers, then bang it dies with the "s...

Spare Perfboard inside machine.

Hi folks. Is there an elegant way to place a 2nd perfboard inside the machine to warm up whilst a print is taking place? I'd like to be able to take off a completed print and carry on straight away with another one on a pre-warmed board. Has anyone made any sort of clip to hold one in place anywhere...

Yellow ABS+ Different Colours?

Hi folks. I've just printed some parts in Yellow ABS+ and noticed too late that the two rolls used were very different yellows. Both rolls are marked with the PN C13-05, but one is a bright "lemon" yellow where as the other is a more toned down yellowy-orange. Putting the components together looks h...

Feature Request - Cancel Part of Print

Hi folks, I'd like to request a feature. If we have multiple parts printing on the bed I'd like to be able to tell the printer to cancel printing them individually. A couple of times I've been mid way through a 10 hour print and realised (yes, realised you damn American spell checker) that one part ...

BUG REPORT V2.18 WIN 10 and WIN 7 many crashes

Hi folks, Is anyone else having problems with 2.18 on Win 10? I'm curious as to whether i have a flaky PC of if the SW is unstable. (Problem 1) Many times on print preview the part will slice, then crash (with a UP3D has stopped working window thrown), before it gets to converting the layers. The mo...

Re: Sorry Up Studio = Patronising.

Thanks guys, nice to know I'm not alone. The temptation for new companies is always to focus on the hardware as the firmware and software can always be "sorted out later" and "upgraded", however this sets a poor tone for the customers. As does the WIN 3.1-ish current SW or the WIN 8-ish beta. In the...

Sorry Up Studio = Patronising.

Hi folks, just spent a while playing with the Studio Beta. Fist impression is it's clean and elegant.. ...right up until you use the new "wheel" menus. Monitors are getting bigger and higher resolution yet software developers seem to want to put less and less buttons on a screen. Every function is b...

Re: Standalone software

Hi folks has this issue been addressed properly yet? I'm new to this printer. My company has an Upbox that I'd like to prepare print project files for on my desktop PC. (The printer is in a different building so simply "plugging it in once" isn't a good option.) As far as I'm aware there are only 3 ...
