Re: New User Questions

Print a bushing! Not able to draw one, post inner and outer dimensions and I'll fix you a .stl file Hi, thanks for the offer, but I designed this as a workaround. They just sit on shelves under the printer and you feed whichever colour you need into the printer. Kinda wish TT offered a similar airt...

Then why does the Tiertime ABS profile specifically made for the Up Mini 2 which ship with Tiertime ABS request a bed temperature of 90C?
Good point.

Re: New User Questions

Just be careful with the inner bore dimension when using the extension. Most 1kg spools I've tried have a larger bore so they'll hang down on the little TT shaft and rub on the bottom of the enclosure causing print failures. I just use external holders now.

Re: WiFi network doesn't show

Dear Customer, Please connect 3D printer to 3 grid signal router... I count myself as pretty IT literate but have never heard of a "3 grid signal router". I doubt many of your customers have either, and nor should they need to. A in layman's terms a device is either wifi compatible or not. If it sa...

I'd turn up the retraction setting to stop the stringing happening in the first place 8-)

Hi cadcam.

Not that I'm aware of.

Actually there are 32 suggestions here from the last 4 months, it'd be interesting to know how many have been addressed?

Re: Up! Mini 2 + Duet electronics! (Linear rails and real hotbed!)

Great video, thanks for the link.

I see you're running the software via a browser. Does it play nicely with multiple duets on the same network?

Thanks, Owen S.

Re: New User Questions

Hi and welcome. (A1) In theory yes but in my experience no, the original extruder is not good at PLA, otherwise why bring out a dedicated extruder... That said I'm currently using the new PLA extruder on a an UPBOX and an UPBOX+ and the results are very good. Only problem I had was both the new bigg...

Re: up300 with external slicer

The UP300 is the brand new machine, with updatable firmware that we've been promised works with GCODE, so it should be good to go.

Re: Firmware Update

Yeah, I emailed support about this. We used to have the problem that the wait until up to temp gcode was ignored. My assumption is that the old studio "preheat for 15 minutes" was a bodge to get around this. - Not good Now studio seems to ignore the preheat checkbox in studio and just print when the...

Which country are you in and who did you buy from? If you're in the UK I'd be happy to print the bit and post it to you?

Re: How good is the UP300 ?

Well it's the first TT full size machine that I'm aware of that we can upgrade the firmware on, so I'm hoping the "early machine" isn't an issue. The internals look very similar to he BOX so they tend to work... To my mind it's lower risk than a brand new machine concept. I hope to purchase a couple...
