Outstanding 8-)

Have you got to printing models yet? Any photos you can share?

Re: New user and CURA support almost integrated

on the subject of LOL. Report this post -> 404 Yeah, that bug was reported a while ago too. I'm wondering if TT closed down a few months ago and we didn't notice. ;) Blue TT PLA is now out of stock for a 2 months+ lead time, X5 never happened, 1kg spools never happened, loads of sales at the...

Re: New user and CURA support almost integrated

Awesome, respecting nozzle height settings and a working pre-heat are both things we failed to do with GCODE the first time around, and that was with TT "support", so great progress, I'm really impressed.

Re: Grinding on and on

Temp and speed can both be adjusted in upstudio, but as you're seeing grinding on just a simple filament extrude then there is something else in play. What happens if you extrude without a nozzle on?

Re: UP Studio 2.6.20.627 multi printer bug

Hi. I've had similar problems for years, including the "not disconnected" message you quote. Other symptoms include but are not limited to:- (a) Only being able to see the printer when it's idle. (b) Seeing the printer but it doesn't know the type, just shows a question mark. (c) Seeing the printer ...

Re: Printing PETG with the UP300

That I can confirm, small parts are possible to print. Bigger parts it fails..... I'm using the ABS Head Yeah, the ABS Extruder is bad at low temps (heat-soak softens the filament before it gets to the extruder gear and then it jams). You really need the new PLA extruder with the insulated internal...

Re: magnetic build plates

Sure thing. Just don't try it with ABS! I've set bed temp to 60 with PLA and that seems to work well. One other thing is I started having dislocation problems. A quick wipe of the bed with acetone has made it much more effective. Tried it on a standard TT smooth board and that also helped.

Sweet. That looks great.

At work I'm partial to swapping people's rolls of solder with a roll of link wire when they're soldering...

I've printed few PETG parts raftless on the UPBOX using a UP300 PLA extruder and they went very well.

Re: Up! Mini 2 + Duet electronics! (Linear rails and real hotbed!)

Sounds great. The TT coordinate system caused Simplify3D's variable layer settings to die (possibly fixed in later versions but I'd lost the will to GCODE before it was updated) so it's good to see you going down a more conventional route. Any chance you could stop messing about putting this in a Mi...

Lesson learned, don't use symetrical objects for test prints :D

1KG spools

Hi folks. I believe 1KG spools were announced a long time ago. (They were a couple of weeks away about six months ago I believe.) I'm yet to see any for sale, are they still happening or have they gone the way of the X5? I was looking forward to using genuine TT filament for weekend long prints. Che...

[FEATURE REQUEST] Don't cancel active feature on selecting view

Hi folks. One of the things that has me shouting at Upstudio is it's preposterous insistence on cancelling whatever operation we're performing if click on one of the view angles. Here I'm laying out the bed with parts, I can't see the gap so select top view: TT1.JPG TT2.JPG And my move cancelled. Re...

So wouldn't you know... I tried loading a 1kg spool from IC3D and it got stuck using the provided extension. Printed a spool holder & it's working great.

Re: raft sagging!

Does the box/box+ have the same fake bed leveling as the up mini? Where you manually use the feeler gauge to measure a grid and the software then compensates the raft for any unevenness? Nope. Box and + both have an active leveling probe so the software looks the same but the 9 point bed mapping is...

Hi.
erm, once you've started the print you can turn off the PC and or unplug the printer from the PC, it doesn't need to stay connected.

It's Upstudio.

Have you tried checking the "easy peel" option. That can help.
