Re: Inital Printing Errors

Try increasing the distance between the bed and nozzle by 0.1 and if not better 0.2

Re: Up software 2.18

Yes, it is a minor update. We just announced UP Flex Print Board, which will be supported starting from 2.18. Release Notes: 1. Added UP Flex Print Board support. UP Flex Print Board replaces the PCB board. Removing the printed parts off the print board will be easier than ever. 2. Added Traditiona...

UP BOX in top rated in 3D Hubs 2016 Printer Guide

The UP BOX got 9.2 in the 3D Hubs Guide. Unfortunately it only got 6 reviews (one of those is mine) so is not included in the main page... https://www.3dhubs.com/best-3d-printer-guide The full list for "plug n play" is here... https://www.3dhubs.com/3d-printers Looking good for the UP brand I think!

Looks like it was a minor update. Apparently they have added support for a new print surface they are producing. When detecting the nozzle height you will be asked to select the board type.

Seems like there's a new version of the software, 2.18, any info on what has changed?
I just spotted that on the UP website. Strange that it hasn't been added here on the forum.

Re: partial print then air print issue

Ive had my up box for about a week now, I've completed 2 smaller prints and one larger 18 hour print before I started to run into problems. I loaded up another 18 hour print and it started fine. About two hours into the print it began to air print and no more filament was passing through the nozzle...

Re: White ABS from UP in 700g reels gone!

In the UK I am having a hard time finding 700g reels of genuine UP ABS. All that seems to be available is 500g reels. Has UP stopped making 700g reels for UP Plus etc cheers Peter Peter, I have found a place where you can buy UP 700g C-01 ABS for £14 GBP. Not sure if it should be common knowledge s...

Great bit of advice there. I assume it runs at 260 deg? Does it have the same support removal properties as the C-01 ABS?

Re: My UP BOX problems

Hey Steelsman, Take a look at your housing for the extruder block. There are 3 magnets that are in the housing and to the best of my knowledge do NOT come glued from the factory. I had a support ticket out and they recommended I glued them into the housing to fix the issue. I was noticing the magne...

Re: My UP BOX problems

I have upgraded from UP Plus for build area, and UP Box is so much better than I expected. It's not put a foot wrong yet. Everything has come out perfect and it's a lot easier to use. I'm really pleased to hear that David. I am working through the issues with Up support who are currently trying to ...

My UP BOX problems

I wondered how everyone is getting on with their Up Boxes? I try not to be negative in general and I am trying my best to like this printer (it looks cool) but the past 6 or 7 weeks haven't been too good. I have spent a lot of time with emails, support tickets, taking to my supplier, distributor and...

I tried buildtak on top of the perfboard but really struggle to remove the model. What's the trick?

Yes this is the up value which is made by the company that supply to UP.http://www.the3dprinter.com.au/collections/consumable/products/up-value-1-75-abs-1kg-filament It says it is not genuine UP so I imagine I've got no chance of getting this stuff in the UK!!! I think it is the one that is already fitted to hold the filament "pipe" right when it is loaded from the spool.

I have been told that they will be releasing a new version of the software and this problem will be resolved with that. Would be great to know when though!
