Formfutura Flexifil
I have been experimenting with Flexifil from Formfutura to make soap molds. Normal extrusion temp should be around 210C so that means PLA setting but that doesnt work. The flexifil would only extrude on ABS setting. On that setting it would only extrude one time and that turned out to be beginners l...

Re: FilaFlex-Filament
Hi, I can read german, but not write it. I read on the Inet that the gap between extruder gear and the inlet of the extruder tube should be minimal. (when printing with flexible filaments) I am expecting a rol of flexifil ( diff brand ) from formfutura. I read an review in which it was extruded at 2...

Re: Form Futura Flex EcoPLA not sticking to the bed
Yes Hi,
I found a type of plastic from which I made build sheets to fit my mini 140mmX140mmx3mm.
All known filaments stick to it like grazy. I can send you some If you want. Just PM me
Cheers

Re: UP mini te koop!

Re: cleaning perf boards without scraping them
The board I use I made it myself. It is 4mm thick and has 2mm holes in a offset pattern. I used that one board for almost one year now. Each and every print is 100% okay. Using raft is a must with this board. For cleaning I use the painters knife which came with my UP mini. Also I swithed back to UP...

Re: Coffee please. dash of milk, no sugar
Well, about that friend of mine? I bought him a sheet of the same plastic as I have only this was made to fit the Ultimaker. He was just over the moon with the results. He's really concidering not to use Masking tape at all. He shared some pictures and said it was okay if I posted them. Filament use...

Re: Coffee please. dash of milk, no sugar
Why would you want Cura? You lose all your removable support! Anyway I am not sure of our question. We don't use rafts on repraps (ultimaker kinda fall in that family) because we can't readily remove the raft ... simple at that. By using a raft (now quite minimal) we use extra plastic but get rid o...

Someone I know owns an Ultimaker. He uses the original build plate with blue tape which mostly doesn't work. Mostly it only works after applying something extra like glue or some other experimental solution. He hates it when a print of lets say 16 hours in total fails after 15hours (who would not) b...

Re: Another solution for PLA printing?
Hi D3rax, A step towards successful printing with PLA could be the sheets I make. In this case I made one for the Ultimaker which is printing a larger surface than in the films as I write this. To get an idea I would like to refer to a youtube post I made. The bed on the Ultimaker is nonheated!!! I ...
