Re: Print quality of the new colored ABS?

That's right.. the matt surface looks more nice than glosy surface. I like OEM filament's matt feeling of the surface. I think the worst looking filament is the plaster like grey filament. It shows true layers, so not good looking. But lots of modelers like that filament because it can make the exac...

Re: 0.20mm vs 0.15mm

The round is looks good.
But it also, in case of 0.15mm, the vertical flat surface looks like more unevenly than 0.2mm.
Could you sharing me the model file?
I'd like to compare with it in my UP.

Re: 0.20mm vs 0.15mm

Hi, Marcus. :) I used normal grey ABS on the low temperature. I'd like to use the OEM filament. But the OEM filament is too expensive here, so I could't have used. The grey color ABS looks like more unevenly than the brighter color filaments. And it shows more uneven surfaces than the case of 0.2mm ...

Small scale printing test.

I've tested to print a small scale model printing on the 0.15mm layer thickness. The clumsy dragon( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18365 ) scaled down to x0.2,x0.1. There's a problem of support on the x0.1 scale printing. It should be possible to set under the 3mm^2 support area in order to make p...

Re: Anyone used Agisoft Photoscan ?

I agree the pro version is expensive, but the standard edition isn't too bad at $179. yeh~! that price looks good! :) It was hard work to make the detail parts on Meshmixer because of the 123D Catched model resoltion too low. I think it might be easy work on PhotoScan models as it just needs smooth...

Re: Anyone used Agisoft Photoscan ?

I compared again the 123D catch and PhotoScan with same photos.

The PhotoScan can change the scanning resolution, so I used ultra high resolution.
The result was great!

But the 123D Catch can't change the resolution.

Re: Anyone used Agisoft Photoscan ?

Thanks for introducing the good software!

I tried to use the Photoscan Demo!
But I realized the Photoscan is not easy to use.
And the results was not good with same photos which is used 123D Catch.

I think Its a very big merit that the Photoscan working on my PC.
I have to try more! :)

Re: The Solitude of the Soul.

I used normal gray ABS filament. And there was no post-finishing at all. There's only difference of working temperature. I have made two of statue. The left one is in case of low temp.(200~210deg, I don't know the exact temp.) The right one is in case of high temp.(240~250deg) In case of low temp., ...
