Re: UP BOX just arrived

Mine have just arrived. Looks awesome! Automatic level doesn't run very nice so had to level by hand. I will be very busy for at least a week, but will comment about upbox and will try to upload some photos. Hope warping problems will finish :-) Congrats, now is your turn to print some tests ;). Re: Nozzle Overheat Alarm

Hi! In my case I think it is because rust is created between the terminals of the temperature sensor. I fix the problem scratching the space between the sensor terminals, but unfortunately, the problem comes back after some time. I changed the sensor two times and the problem still is there, only so...

Re: problems with extrusor

Hi mb20music, thanks for your comments. Clips in the sides are necessary because the perfboard usually bends with big parts, and I set them once the print has began, not before. There's no problem with alignment, just the extruder: nylon piece was biten by the teeth, what I wonder is why. I suppose ...

Re: problems with extrusor

Thanks for your answers. Nozzle cleaned, gear's teeth cleaned... Always print with ABS bought to UP or spanish dealer. Thought would be a problem with the diameter of the filament, so throw away about 1.5m and tried to print again, the problem persist and tried with an older filament which worked fi...

problems with extrusor

Hi. This is the second time in one year I have this problem: the gear begins to touch the nylon part (don't know why, I think this piece unsticks from the extruder motor) and filament stops extruding, although printer runs "normally". When this occur, the motor makes a noise, as you can hear in the ...

Re: Advice on part placement

In tall and thin parts I put a heater blowing hot air to the piece to avoid heat tensions which can break those thin walls (be careful of blowing air too much hot  )

Re: Printing Real Solid parts. i.e. 100% infill

Wellcome Benjamjo.
Unfortunatelly UP cannot print full solid parts and I think none software/printer of this price can do it. But with the first fill option in the left you can print quite strong parts.
Hope help you.

Re: Best setting for object strength ?

Hi!
I you deep in acetone and part become soft, you shouldn't put in under sun, just on fresh air. More time in acetone more time to become hard again.
But I have to say: for me the most important is printing the part oriented correctly when possible.
