I feel very let down by Tiertime with regards to filament.
For ABS I have C-11 and C-13.
Someone on the Forum wrote C-13 is ABS+ but it is impossible to know for certain, for some reason Tiertime is keeping this information secret.
Is your C-21 white ABS?

Re: Filament Nightmares - SKU List
Jason, up3d.com does not specify which ABS they are selling. if it is ABS (C-11) or ABS + (C-13). EntresD from Spain is listing a product code C-21 for ABS white. They call ABS Premium. is that a new version of ABS? Perhaps a non-offical ABS? I would like more transparency about Filament issues and ...

Filament Nightmares - SKU List
Hi! I have an UP Box and an UP! plus 2. Like many other users in this forum, I am struggling with some prints, most of my problems now are related to part removal from raft/supports, etc. There is a lot of advise on this forum, which helps to a certain extend. I believe a key factor that is not clea...

Re: UP BOX raft separation from model problems
Could anybody in Tiertime record a video tutorial Specific about this issue? Let's face it: the UP box breaks the promise of previous UPs, its not plug and print anymore (at least for .1 ABS prints). So, instead of advertisement-like videos in the new UP Studio, you could post videos that actually h...

UP BOX and Support removal, PLA filament issue.
Hi I am happy we my new BOX, I also have an UP2. I got it some months ago. Since them I have been working on a couple of Enclosures. As many mentioned over here: support removal for large flat surfaces can be a real nightmare. Hours of work, frustration, broken part, even blood in your hand. I manag...

Thanks for the replies.

filament storage
Hi!
I have ordered a few different ABS filaments to test colours/transparent.
How should they be stored so that they keep their quality?
Also, they are not original UP! ABS, but "seems" to work on the UP!. What would you say is a good "test" print to check it works OK?

A note to all UP Plus 2 owners! Has any one else experienced lose of communication with the printer? UP Plus 2? UP Plus? Which message do you get? In windows or OSX? I get several, the most common is could not link to the printer in OSX, restarting the application and/or reconecting the USB cable f...

Re: What CAD/3D software do people use?
If you have a software development background, I recommend openscad. It is not interactive, except for visualisation. Building models is just as programming, very easy. There are lots of things already done, which you can easily modify. There is a tutorial that in 10 minutes will get you up and runn...

UP Plus 2, platform levelling
The Up 2 comes with automatic calibration sensors that allow newbies to get started quickly. My first print was indeed an out-of-the-box success! You start however running into trouble when trying to print larger objects. Experienced users around here consistently point out that fine platform leveli...

Newby, issues removing the raft
Thanks for asking. I am not 100% sure i have fixed it. I oppened the fan 50%, and that did work for the raft but I experienced some wraping when printing large objects. Also, my room temperature was a bit cold. Also, it looks like the problem was worst with the most dense setting / solid. So, I have...

what convinced you to buy an Up!
I just got mine. I have already started 2 software companies. To me 3d printing seems to be a disruptive trend. i wanted to experience it first hand while also having some fun, i also do some electronics for work and fun. I have no mechanical or industrial engineering experience, but played a bit op...

Re: Newby, issues removing the raft
Thanks for the suggestion, I will test it. It is currently Closed. I am not sure if in previous prints it was partially open or not. I have probably fiddled with all the settings. By partially you mean 25%, 50%? To get a better understanding of how it works: I understand that by having it partially ...

Re: Sensor Connection Error
I worked out what the problem is. The sensor cable that goes into the printer body doesn't make good contact. The reason is that the jack plastic cover hits the printer frame and prevents it from making it full contact. I only had to cut a little plastic from the jack cover and now it works fine. Th...

Sensor Connection Error
Hi! I just received the new UP Plus 2. I am trying to run though the Quick Start Guide. I am not managing to Auto Level. I connect the sensor as explained in the guide but I keep getting: "ERROR: Sensor connection error". I have reviewed the jack connections: the table level calibrator on the print ...
