Re: Something different rc outboard motor
Very nice. It took me a minute to find the steering servo but I see it now.

Re: Failed Heat Bed mod.
Post a picture of it. Also look for deep scratches on the top of the heater to see if you have a broken connection in the heater passes.

Re: Up Mini printing Issues
Is the nozzle getting hot? If you have a broken nozzle heater wire you wont extrude anything and I think you will get an error of some sort.

Re: What function does this serve?
Never seen that before. Did you buy the machine used? My printer doesn't have it. At first I thought it might be something to do with the door magnet but my machine doesn't use it.

Re: Adjustable bed leveling for the Mini
Yes the Mini bed has always been a source of annoyance for me. My bed design might work with the Mini software but I am not sure since I have converted to the Ramps/Arduino Mega controller. Besides now having an adjustable bed, adding the 4th linear bearing has made a difference in the rigidity of t...

Re: Adjustable bed level
Adding a fourth bearing to the bed support was a small challenge. I had to drill and cut slots for a modified bearing mount to attach to the frame. I made a template of the existing double bearing mount holes and transferred it to the single bearing mount area. I created a 3D printable double bearin...

Adjustable bed leveling for the Mini
Made an adjustable bed for my UP Mini. It is machined from a 6"x6"x1/2" piece of aluminum. Holes are tapped to 3mm and fit through the existing holes (reamed to 3.5mm) in the original bed frame. In the pictures you can see that I replaced the three bearing set up with a four bearing set up. Its much...

Re: Converting Mini to CBD Chitu 3.1 board
I can list the things specific to the Mini that I did to get it up and running. I moved all the end stops to be easier to calibrate everything. This took relocating and making all new mounts for the end stops. Minim for X-axis is to the right, for Y-axis is the table all the way forward, Z-axis is a...
