Re: A challenge to all you smart people.

Ah, no I think you are not misinterpreting the issues at play. You are increasing the conduction of heat up into the body of the extruder by adding thermal paste ... you are going to increase your rate of jams. The issue is to keep heat out of the extruder body and filament feed tube not conduct mo...

Re: Raft won't stick to perforated build platform

We have an Up Mini Printer which is less than one month old. The first two weeks all prints worked well. Now - nothing prints correctly. The raft is not adhering to the platform. We have tried everything we can think of and are at the point of despair! We heat the platform before printing - and hav...

Re: Raft doesn't stick anymore

Hi everyone, I am printing atm and have had a number of succesful first prints. I read that after a while, it could happen that the platform doesn't stick that well anymore. And I think that's happening with me. I also read that a solution could be to re-adjust the nozzle height. But I did, and I d...

Re: Mini: X+limit error help!

When i had this problem, i just pulled the platform manually towords me. This happened when i tried to remove the perfboard and accidently pushed the belt (and motor) to move. The UP! Mini remembers it's position and thinks it has reached the end before it actually was there. Another time, the clips...

Disclamer: - I'm not responsible for your actions, all handlings and damages are on your own risk. Here is what you need: - Theremal paste (the white stuff for use on computer cpu's) - A brain, and probably 2 right hands (if your right handed) - A phillips (+) screw thing - Some tiny fingers to unp...

Re: Filament recycling samenwerking

Re: UP minî ervaringen

Re: Up Mini perf board heater mod

I wonder what this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10080 would do if we could get it on the platform size. It's a Peltier element, getting hot on one side and cold on the other. (can be switched around) Let's say we can heat one side, to get the other cool. or cool (fan) one side to get the other ...

Re: New UP! Mini user. Nozzle not working and platform dropp

This was my solution: i had some problems too with the platform dropping. I found later that the metalic belt tentioner on the z-axis (up/down) was too low on the belt. I moved it up so the platform could move all the way up and down. This happened during shipping i think. Also my bearing holder was...

Re: UP mini te koop!

Ik kan geen PM's sturen helaas.
Doordat ik er al een heb, en eventueel de nieuw UP! 2 wil halen vind ik de prijs toch iets te laag.

Eventueel kun je hem op marktplaats zetten en zal ik een FB link delen..

Re: How to control the temperature of the platform?

This is not that great, cause objects sometimes seem to be moving upwards.
They do not "stick to the plate" as well. The calibration is done here, it's working fine sometimes.

This is pretty strange as i did the calibration, nozzle height and all are good.
