I need help with the Taulman 618 on UP

Hi! So i've had the taulman 618 spool for about four months and haven't used it yet. The problem is that the material won't stick to my perfboard. I've tried using wood but because I'm extruding the Taulman on ABS settings the plattform heats up and everything just fails when the wood gets hot. How ...

3D Hubs

Hi!

I just came across this new ''startup'' or what to call it.

It's an idea that if you have a 3D-printer you can become a one-man Shapeways factory.

What do you think of the concept and how do you guys it will affect people that doesn't have a 3D-printer.

Her's the site: http://www.3dhubs.com/

Re: time remaining

Did you tried to turn it off and on again. The printer should reset it's memory. If that doesn't work then just let it be unplugged for a couple of minutes.

I remember printing sometin more for it but I don't remember which piece. It took a little over 9 hours on 0.15, Fine. I also wanted to print the Voronoi Yoda: ( http://ww...

What are some pros and cons of the UP! Plus?

Hi! What are the pros and cons of the UP! Plus 3D-printer. And how do I tackle those cons to make them pros? One con I think about is the small build plate. When someone mentions it I simply say that it's very rare that you print something bigger and big prints require more material, which makes the...

Re: Vapour Bath with Acetone

I tried the same sort of thing, but with a cover on the jar. I hope he enjoys those lovely soothing acetone vapours. Sure do clear out the sinus...... I'd recommend doing this in a well ventilated area, like outside. What do you mean by cover? Was it the cap or did you just place something flat on ...

Anyone from Sweden?

Hej!

Plus! :D

Nozzle goint to far in all the X and Y direction

Hi! My nozzle is moving to the far corner in every direction when I'm in maintance and when printing. This makes it hard to place the clips to hold the Perfboard because the nozzle is crashing into them. It's not the biggest deal because my prints are always in the middle but it wasn't like that bef...
