Re: Clear all history

Dear Customer, UP 300 is 3D printer so can't recognized as memory when connect to computer. You can send task to UP 300 via UP Studio. Please refer UP 300 user manual. https://www.tiertime.com/user-manuals Please feel free to contact us if you have any problems. support@tiertime.com Thanks. I think...

34) "Print Anyway" option when the filament volume is less than the print volume... Because filament usage isn't tracked all that well.

Re: No function anymore after update 300_1.4.7_update

OK, Just noticed that my machine, which accepted this update, is now reporting I've done 98Kg of print.... :( Seems like there are some serious issues in this version even when it works.

Any news on when a new version is coming? Or can anyone advise which version supports 2.5 Up Studio?

Re: [Bug Report] Wall still not attached to infill 19th March 2019 firmware.

What is the board firmware to support this? Now I've upgraded it, it just errors out when I try to run 2.5.x -

I'm not sure it's safe to downgrade after the recent string of firmware failure updates, especially as I'm on the latest.

Re: 300_1.4.7_update no Touchscreen function anymore

I seem to have 1.4.7 update OK. No problems that I can tell. What should those who don't experience problems with 1.4.7 do? I first updated from shipped to 1.3.22, then to 1.4.5 and finally 1.4.7

Re: UP Studio 2.6.20.627

Are the Up Studio bugs the same across all platforms (eg, the UP Box, Mini and UP300? )

Eg, is this bug with the latest firmware affecting people other than users of the UP300?

Thanks

[Bug Report] Wall still not attached to infill 19th March 2019 firmware.

Just tried the default 100% Fill on a model with default settings, 0.1mm layers. The outer will is still not attached to the infill, with the worst affect being on the right rear side ( that is, the right side, or rear side, will show the worst separation between the wall and the fill, or in a circl...

Calibrating it manually should still work. They include a card for doing it manually.

At what point does the process fail for you?

Re: USB inside the Case

There's a lot of unused connectors on the board, because it looks like it was originally intended for a different machine. If I recall correctly, the connector on the board is wired, via the plug nearby, to go to the back of the printer, and is the printer port.

Re: How good is the UP300 ?

Hi Cadcam, While the major bugs and a lack of acknowledgement of them by Tiertime, is a bit off-putting, it's also worth considering that these printers are still, even now, fairly new and have only just received their second firmware update from Tiertime. It's rare that early adopters don't have so...

Re: Upgrades and Firmware revisions we'd like for the UP300

if measurement non-volatile through power switching, then may be able to give warning of moisture take-up as well! This much is true, but it is complicated and relies on accurate spool measurements during initial spooling, as well as knowing the moisture content at the point of opening. Consistency...

Re: Upgrades and Firmware revisions we'd like for the UP300

I'd suggest distance over weight, as the weight can vary by 10% easily by moisture content alone, and I've seen as much as 15% during some experiments I did with an autoclave measuring moisture loss in autoclaved ABS models... ( It's amazing, but heating up an ABS model in steam to 120% or so remove...

An unexplained feed failure. No mechanical failure this time.

So I was printing a model, and after about 10 minutes, noticed it was printing to air. I waited a little, since it's a complex model and wasn't easy to see that it had stopped printing, but then I opened the filament door and lightly felt the filament and sure enough it was stationary. My first thou...

Re: How good is the UP300 ?

I wouldn't want to tap these too much. Best results are from printing the threads and then wetting the threads slightly with MEK before installing a helicoil, and perhaps leaving a bolt in place to make sure that any excess melt doesn't affect the pitch of the helicoil. This requires no afterprint w...

Re: How good is the UP300 ?

Another perspective here. Most of the UP300 I find pretty good. The rigidity removes a lot of artifacts from the model caused by oscillation of the head when it makes sudden 90-degree direction changes - something that is readily visible in earlier units. Print speed is good, and I find I am using 0...
