Re: [bug report] New material not shown on UP mini 2 screen

The same with software version 2.5.31.461: installed this version; added custom material; started print - on the screen I see "Material: ABS".

Re: UPStudio G-code Tutorial

Not professional. Not acceptable. TT if you're not going to deliver on your promise of fixing the firmware then you need to supply replacement PCB's, it really is that simple. Owen Sparks. Do not be sad, you do not really need to buy CPU replacement - it also does not work properly with the new CPU...

Moshop has been removed in UP Studio.

Elaine
No, it is still there in the latest UP Studio version (saying "out of service"). :D

Re: Printbed heating

My Mini2 had the same issue, contact with your technical support. The print must arrive to 70-75ºC in barely 10 minutes. Did you find the way to fix that? I have the same issue (~60 degrees after 1 hour of preheat, ~66 degrees after 4 hours of preheat). Tiertime support says that is normal because ...

Re: [BUG REPORT] G-code print: M190 command (wait for bed temperature) not working properly

Alternatively is the G4 code supported? If so we can set our own delay in our GCODE. Yes, G4 code works fine (I have tested). It's one of possible workarounds. But it just waits, does not stop waiting if temperature is reached and does not wait more if time is over but temperature is still not enou...

3. Any xperience using other apps to generate GCODE for Upstudio?
You can see some discussions in this forum, or just search for "G-code".

In short: that is possible, but there are some problems there.

Re: UPStudio G-code Tutorial

The gcode command 'G28' is to home the axes, and according to the RepRap wiki, ignores any Co-Ordinates. So, for example 'G28 X-2 Y2' (Which is what TT have advised) Should be the same outcome as G28 X Y Tiertime implementation of this command is not standard. It does nothing without parameters, an...

Re: [BUG REPORT] G-code print: M92 command not working

Let me provide some more details on the problem. The most common command in gcode is G1: "move extruder to [coordinates] while extruding E units of filament at speed F units/min". On the low level, there is stepping motor in the extruder. It knows nothing about units of filament, it only knows about...

Re: [BUG REPORT] G-code print: M190 command (wait for bed temperature) not working properly

Yeah, we reported this way back when GCODE was "introduced" but tiertime didn't even have the courtesy to reply. May be, they shall notice the separate thread called "bug report"? I'd imagine it would be possible for studio to mimic the behaviour (it can see the current bed temp temp) but th...

[feature request] G-code print: automatically add M206 command

Now I need to start my G-code with the following line. M206 Z-124.6 ; nozzle offset so the bed is at 0 (where 124.6 is current nozzle height) It would be nice to add this line automatically when UP Studio opens gcode file and sends it to the printer. UP Studio knows the nozzle height, so it is not d...

[BUG REPORT] G-code print: M190 command (wait for bed temperature) not working properly

M190 command now acts just like M140: it sets target temperature, but does not wait untill the bed heats. It just continues to the print with the cold bed.

[BUG REPORT] G-code print: M92 command not working

According to the post here, this command is supported for axes X,Y,Z,E.

But
M92 E10
G92 E0
G1 E100 F5000
extrudes the same amount of filament as
M92 E100
G92 E0
G1 E100 F5000

Re: G-code prints starting too high [Solution]

It's because of the way upstudio handles it's z-heights. During normal usage, it doesn't store it in the code sent to the printer, but in the printer itself (from what I can gather) so when it uses G-code, it seems to alter the nozzle height twice - once with whats in the gcode, and again with it's...

You can see the print temperature setting for a given material by choosing "Customized" in the material selection box in the Maintence menu.
Yes, I can. But in this case I am not sure if the temperature is corect.

According to the list here, now M300 command support is not implemented.

I am sure it is not complicated, according to this thread G-code transcoder did emplement this.

Re: UPStudio G-code Tutorial

With multiple printers and wandering nozzle heights having the nozzle offset hard coded into the GCODE is not acceptable. Try M206 command as described here . It works well for my UP mini 2. In this case, nozzle height appears in single line of gcode, and can be easily changed with notepad. Does th...

[bug report] New material not shown on UP mini 2 screen

1. Open up studio.
2. Go to Maintenance -> Material -> Customized.
3. Add new material.
4. Start printing from UP Studio.

One of the old materials is displayed on the printer's screen.
If I reboot the printer and reconnect UP studio, everything is ok.

[feature request] Show temperatures while printing

Now, while printing the temperatures are shown in percent, and there is no way to see the actual temperature.

It would be very nice to have an option to see the temperatures themselves, not percent.
