Re: Printbed heating

Since nobody from Tiertime was answering to this issue through this community forum I opened a tech support ticket. I explained there the very same problem I was commenting here about the slow bed heating time and bed temperature not rising over 60ºC, and after asking me for my printer serial number...

Re: Printbed heating

Ok, thanks.

I guess you solved the problem with your printer... was it necessary you to send back the printer for repairing ?

Re: Pre-heat option ?

Wow... thanks !! I didn't even notice those small triangles...

And by the way, now that I can see these advanced options... should the value at the 'Extrusion Width' option match the nozzle diameter ?

Re: Beginner maker need help :)

Marksman...

Is the Up Mini 2 capable of bed heating to 90ºC ? And so... how long does it take ? Because mine does not rise over 60ºC, and even for that temp it takes a whole hour....

Is there any hacking or replacement needed to make the bed temperature to behave as expected ?

Printbed heating

I know.... this has been largely commented here, but I would like to summarize in a clear and simple statement in order to proceed.... if after 1 hour of pre-heating the printbed, its temperature is barely less than 60ºC... can I conclude that the printer is NOT working properly ? And if so... is th...

Pre-heat option ?

Hello there, I've observed that in the last version of the Up software (macOS), the pre-heat option has been removed. And I mean the one in the print dialog, which forced the print start to be delayed until the pre-heat time had been elapsed. It is still in the config dialog, together with the butto...

Re: Nozzle material

Is it the same nozzle type used for UP Plus, UP Mini and the Up Box (manufactured after March 2015) ?

Re: ABS print is sticking too well to raft

Same thing here !! I had used the perf board a few times and even found that some prints were not sticking at all to the heatbed. After a manual calibration of the nozzle height, now it sticks too strong as described by you and it is really hard to release the printed piece after completion. And, ob...

Nozzle material

Hi there, I'm willing to give a try to the filament PETG-Carbon, just to se if I can avoid warping effect wth ABS. I've seen in the Up mini 2 specs that this is one of the compatible materials for filaments. But I've also seen that brass or bronze nozzles should not be used with this kind of abrasiv...

Re: Up Studio for Mac

Not in my case... I'm connecting from Spain to the web address http://www.tiertime.com/support/download, and there's no Up Studio version for Mac being shown... It was there (since I downloaded mine from it) but not anymore...

Is there a different web for each country/area ?

Re: Sleep option

Yes, that's what I thought... I read somewhere in the documentation that the effect of sleep option was to switch off the printer after job finishing... Another thing to add to the list of things that behave different between Windows and Mac versions....

Sleep option

Hi, has anyone tried the sleep option in the preferences form in Up Studio ? I'm using most recent OSX version of Up Studio, and this option is supposed to switch off the Up Mini 2 after finishing a print job. But, every time I've used this sleep option (tipically for jobs taking most of the night) ...

Heating bed

Hi all, I'm a new user with the Up Mini 2. Does anyone know what's the temp range that the heating bed can get? I have noticed that the pre-heating is extremely slow and my heated bed does not go over 65ºC even after 1 hour of pre-heating... Is this normal or a printer malfunction? Is there any repl...
