Re: Blocked Nozzle
Mine has been doing the same, but only recently.
I have been using ABS and have changed the print temp from 220-270 so I have ruled that out.

3mm filament
Hi all,
I am fully aware that the up plus 2 is meant to print 1.75mm filament however I have access to over 10 kgs of 3mm abs filament.
Any way I can make this work?

[BUG REPORT] Nozzle too hot
Hi I have been using my up plus 2 for awhile now but only recently have I noticed something different in Up studio. I am trying to print abs at 230 and I have altered the filament setting. However when I start the print the extruder heats up past that to 260. It then starts, but quickly says it is 1...

Support setting tutorial
Hi All, I won't lie, I love that up studio can be quite simple to use. Add a model and you're off. However, I am now at the level of wanting to tweak things and adjust preferences, with support being the main one. Has anyone written or seen a good tutorial on how to use the support settings in Up st...

Instead of perfboard
Hi All,
Interested in your opinions. I am having some warping issues as of late. I have everything heated and in the recommended settings but just seems to happen. I'm thinking of buying the lok build sheet and attaching it to the perfboard.
What are people thoughts?

Lifting rafts
Hi All, I've noticed in the last couple of versions that the raft isn't 'completing'. Basically in the final corner of a raft the extruder is lifting just slightly too early and therefor the raft isn't going on smooth and connecting at the end. That is causing it to warp. Any ideas or is anyone else...

Types of PLA
Hi Guys, Sorry for all the questions. But thanks for all of the amazing responses! Very much appreciated. The Up Plus 2 prints ABS and PLA. That i know haha. Therefor does it print say PLAwood or Pla copper, bronze combinations? Would it just be as simple at changing the print temp? I'm just curious...

Re: Print at a different start layer
Ah ok,
So if I have the old CPU and if the extruder blocked then I can't start it. I have to cut the object and then add them together?

Print at a different start layer
Hi All,
My printer blocked half way through my print.
Is there anyway to start using Up Studio at a different layer than layer 1?
Thanks!

Thanks Tegregg!
Yeah the filament has its set range for the temperature on it.
However I am obviously missing the step of how to change the temperature
How do i set up custom temperature in UP studio?? I've never seen this option.

Print Temperatures
Hello all, I bought some ABS filament which printed too hot and ended up jamming the extruder. No worries. Soaking the extruder in some acetone. So my question is on up studio you can set it for ABS or PLA. I find my ABS prints at approx 260-280. is that normal? Also what temperature does the PLA se...

UP studio 1.5
Hi guys,
I find that my up studio freezes whenever I preview a piece. I'm not plugged into my printer.
It always freezes on the last part of the slice.
Any ideas?

Hi Ricks,
Thanks for confirming that for me. If you don't mind could you walk me through removing the front upright cover?
Im not sure what to unscrew and I'd love to not have to unscrew everything haha

Broken part Take 4 or 5.....
Hi all,
I'm loving the up plus 2 but there seems to be lots of things going wrong for me.
Today I found this piece just lying in underneath the printing board. Any ideas?

Hopefully isn't too much of a issue.... Thanks

Stopped rafts
Hi Guys, Yet another question. I have been trying to print and my printer is making a horrible noise when trying to rafts. With some of my filament the raft just pauses halfway and doesn't come out. If it gets past the raft it prints fine. Is it just poor filament? I have uploaded a video to quickly...

Extruder change issue
Hi Guys, Yet another problem for me haha. I was finding my extruder was blocked. So I heated up as part of the manual and tried to remove to no success. So I was using all the supplied gear and it wouldn't budge. This this happened https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B64tbnAJKeevSlV0RndMel9ObW8/view?us...
