Re: X Idler broke.

Which country are you in brorn? Consumer law varies so widely from country to country. In the UK for example a product must have a minimum of a years warranty or it can't be sold, and that is from the date the end user purchases it, not when it's manufactured. There are additional protections if a c...

Re: filament not feeding on print

OK, silly question first, after the bed level did you set the nozzle height? If so how? If that's good what happens if you stick a deliberate nozzle height that places the nozzle way above the bed and start a print? Does it feed OK then? If this is good increment down until the raft adheres nicely t...

Hi.
I'm still lost. Every print? Why would you do an auto level on every print?

Re: UP STUDIO Ver 2.6.20.627

I have been trying for weeks now to get an answer as to what the exact thickness of the calibration tool should be. I was eventually told that a piece of A4 paper will do..... I think not. Yeah I agree the support needs improving. It does seem to be getting better though. The original UPBOX was man...

Re: Extruder stepper makes chugging sound

I'd go back to basics first. TT fillament melts at higher temps than other ABS brands so is less prone to heatsoak in the extruder causing jams. I'd remove the nozzle, extrude genuine TT filament through it (still without a nozzle) and if that is OK fit a new nozzle and try a couple of prints. Then ...

Solved thanks
It's always helpful if people post how they solved their problem. :| As it happens I'm having calibration problems at the moment too, perhaps your fix is what I need? A bit of give and take is always welcome.

Sorry real work has got in the way so I've not got to it yet and it looks like the machines will be flat out this week. I still think it's awesome work and am keen to give it a go.

Re: After UP STUDIO Ver 2.6.20.627 update, My print finish but UPBOX flashes red

erm, that means the print is finished! (Label on underside of lid confirms this.) The old UPBOX used green to indicate print finished. A single red letter indicates a specific fault condition. I was wondering if it's a cultural thing, does read indicate something good in China? In Europe and the USA...

Re: Problems Sticking to Bed

Hi bjorn. Ouch that sounds nasty. Yes definitely pure acetone, though on UPBox boards in my case. I'd seen Angus do it on Maker's Muse and thought I'd try it. You can defiantly feel it dissolve the surface and then evaporate away. I'm not sure if it removed a top layer of "bad" surface or if the coa...

Re: UP STUDIO Ver 2.6.20.627

I think that is a feature rather than a bug. It allows a proper offset to be applied so the calibration is good. Before my automated nozzle detection was way off, but now it'll compensate well for that. The information was't great on the up/down buttons so I ended up redoing it, but the result was g...

Re: Problems Sticking to Bed

I've used acetone on both my TT flex board and "easly peelzy" surface and the results were great. Very small amounts used though, just a wipe over. This made the difference between failed prints and nicely stuck rafts. As far as the perf board goes I've noticed new boards are far more likely to have...

Yes, losing wall perimeters when we were forced to switch to studio was a big loss.

Hi again.

Just had a look at the Cura download site and say that V3.6 has been superseded by by V4.0, should we stick with the 3.6 or try the latest?

Re: New user and CURA support almost integrated

Awesome, respecting nozzle height settings and a working pre-heat are both things we failed to do with GCODE the first time around, and that was with TT "support", so great progress, I'm really impressed.

Cheers,
