Re: Happy holidays + Model Giveaway

Pretty sure they do. Just PM Elaine and she sends you the file. The file I got however is all in one so printing it would mean more support than jeep. It was also missing a wheel. Unfortunately unless there is a version with the individual components separated, I wont be printing it.

Re: Happy holidays + Model Giveaway

This is the first file I designed in Fusion 360. When I got the upgrade kit the dual fan didnt work on my upbox as the back magnet interferes with the fan stopping it rotating. As a result I need to design a mod. Not knowing how to do this I gave myself some quick lessons in Fusion 360 and then des...

Re: Print head full of filament

If you have a soldering iron, you can use that to try to cut away some of the bigger bits, you can then hopefully heat the printhead up and remove the pieces attached to that. If any of the electronic components are caught up in it you may be up for a new printhead.

Re: Auto leveling

Based my 1 year experience with UP Box and UP Mini2, I strongly recommend a MANUAL LEVELLING. I am doing manual levelling both UP printers and everything OK. Download UP Box+ manual and follow the steps described inside (the initial UP Box manual does not provide all steps and creates some confusio...

Check the SD card is seated properly on the motherboard. You will need to pull the back cover off to get to it.

Re: Not connecting to the computer

Have you tried using a different USB port (say one on the back if using the front port). It maybe a USB problem. Also check that a different USB device works on the port the printer is plugged into. Secondly I would try using a different PC if you have one to try to work out whether your problem is ...

Re: Clogged/Extrusion Head

Provided you can remove enough of it to be in a reasonable state you can reprint the piece. Provided you are careful you should be ok "cutting" the fused parts with a soldering iron and then reprinting the part once you have cleaned it up somewhat.

It shows Temperature instead of % in those fields.
May not be the correct place, but interested in the settings you have used to get gcode working properly.

Thanks

Re: Failed overnight prints

I had a similar issue and it ended up being one of the printbed levelling screws had been wound to its limit so wasn't holding the bed level throughout the print. Once I wound the screws back down and re-levelled the problem disappeared.

Re: Gear not turning? Problem with stepper motor?

Could be a couple of problems. It may be the stepper motor that drives the gear or it could be a problem with the board. I'd raise the issue with support so they can try to diagnose.

Re: UPStudio Change Log

Totally agree. There should be safeguards in the software to prevent it from being bricked. At a minimum they should be giving you the CPU at the $50 upgrade price - realistically it should be free in my view.

Agree - even if we got about 15 characters it would be better - also allow more slots for custom settings.

Re: UPStudio Change Log

send an email directly to support. I had a similar issue where my UPBox wouldnt initialise and continually beeped and it ended up being a CPU issue that needed replacing (thankfully I was still within warranty). Did you get a replacement CPU as part of the upgrade a few months ago? If so you could p...
