Re: Solid Models --> Automatic Infill? Or do I need to hollow out manually?
Thank you @ricks01 and @UP_3DWP! Have to conserve as I haven't bought filament and about out of the demo filament.

Solid Models --> Automatic Infill? Or do I need to hollow out manually?
Logically, I don't need to ask this question. But my wallet yells at me to double check. When I make a new model (I'm using FreeCAD) and it has a significant amount of solid object volume, the Up slicer automatically converts the solid internal volume to infill (based on the various settings) right?...

Re: New Printer Looks Nice But Not Working Yet - Nozzle Height Calibration
Thanks for the explanation. Now I can be more confident about adjusting the nozzle height.
The bed height seems to change by itself so I am going to try the suggestions I have read about maxing out the bed springs before manual calibration to minimize the hysteresis of the springs.

Re: New Printer Looks Nice But Not Working Yet - Nozzle Height Calibration
Hello and thanks for the answers. 1. The idea about stacking up paper to slide it in horizontally worked! That keeps me from needing to disassemble the detector housing. Thank you. 2. I have followed the manual adjustment procedure you mentioned. I just thought there was a more simple one somewhere ...

New Printer Looks Nice But Not Working Yet - Nozzle Height Calibration
Hello all. Got my Up Box today. Looks nice but not working yet. 1) Nozzle Height Calibration I had the same problem as this person . The little metal tab for nozzle height calibration was stuffed back into the housing (which I discovered after the calibration procedure jammed the nozzle into the bed...

Re: Questions about the HEPA filter
If you hear the side panel vibrating, check the filter. I found after about 3 months of heavy usage the filter needed changing. Hah! Sounds about right - 3 months of heavy usage vs 6 months in the manual. Thanks for that. Any reason why you can't remove it and print without it? I mean we print now ...

Questions about the HEPA filter
1) Where do you source replacement filters for the Up Box? I found them in Australia but didn't find any originals in the US. Octave has some 3rd party filters which may be fine. I'll actually need them in Japan but I haven't found them here either. 2) Also for anyone that has replaced it, did you f...
