heater in extruder

Hello, as I would like to design my own Nozzle, I would like to know the technical data of the heater. What voltage is it running , and what temp should it reach.
Is there any partnumber? I only need the heater, not the nozzle assembly.

Thanks

3d Labprint flying models

Hello Tiertime, it seems impossible to print these nice models with the UP Box. The Softare always prints 2 shells/perimeter, where there should be onyl one. The wallthickness of these parts should be in the 0,5mm range, which requirese single extrusion, but the Studio software seems to be unable to...

Why is the lowest infill so strange! It does not give good surfaces.

Re: UP BOX Mod * run out of filament pause! :)

no, It is not possible to get stable results without communication with the software.
Results have been very encouraging, but on some prints, where there is long travel of x,y axis (for example many parts on printbed) it will recgnize "no extrusion"

Re: UP BOX Mod * run out of filament pause! :)

I am still working on the software algorithm. It saved already one big print, but sometimes it stops the printer even there is no problem. The setting depends heaviely on the part beeing printed. There is no Alarm, I am using a RC Servo (like for nozzle hight measuring) to simply open the door, then ...

I am working for a while now on the encoder. It is not easy but this version seems to work. The first testprints seem good.

Re: UP Studio V1.0.0.4 Beta Update

Since using UP studio, I have more and more the problem of extruder not extruding any more. After some investigation I think I found the problem. When I get airprint again, I retracted the filament from the extruder, and then measured the diameter. At the end the diameter was 1,95-2mm! I think that ...

Printing PETG

Thanks to the new version of UP Studio, there is the possibility to set the nozzle and bet temp. THANKS for this. Now I started printing PET. The problem I am facing is that very often (50% of all prints) the extruder can not extrude any more. Sometime after the first 2-3 layers, sometimes after 30-...

Hello AGAIN, as you are working on UP Studio, PLEASE get some print settings for other materials!. There are so many interesting materials out there, but with my UP Box I can only use PLA or ABS. I would like to print PET or Flexible too, but can not. For PET I tried every possible setting but the r...

Hello Tiertime,

is it possible to Change Software, so that it shows the supportstructure? Would be much easier to choose the correct Settings, if the supportstructure would be visible in the Software.

Thanks

Re: What may cause this?

Thanks for this Bruce, I did some more test, with some strange results. Here I printed a cubic part with thin wall Option. The surface is good. What is strange, is that the wallthikness is 1,2mm, although in the stl file it is 0,4mm only?! Second part is a airfoil with some internal ribs. Same Setti...

Hello, I will check that this evening. But from what I have seen during last print, the marks are aligned. Attached Pictures from the last print. It seems to be getting worse. I really want to solve this Problem. Any other ideas? One Problem seems to be the pathes the printhead is running. I tried t...
