[UPDATED]UP Studio Version 2.5.31.461 fails to install (Win10 Home, 64bit)
As stated above, downloaded the latest version on my windows desktop so i could create material profiles (because the one on the mac is clearly broken on release. should have held off on releasing that version if material customization is not yet enabled.. just giving headaches to users.) and it rep...

[FEATURE REQUEST]Print now button on print preview screen, also problem with print time estimate
Can we have something like that? so we dont have to slice twice. Also, the time indicated in the preview (lower right corner, beside the filament amount) is off by a lot (by at least 10mins, some as much as 30mins) which throws off (printing price) estimates.... [EDIT]Seems like the first siginifica...

Print preview works?!? (layers and supports now viewable on preview!)
Going to say thanks for finally adding this heavily requested feature! No more 2nd guessing about supports on overhangs on Up Studio prints (now, fix Gcode for us older UP! users for more fine-tuned prints!) [EDIT]Also there's a basic supports editor now? (If this was taking your time on fixing gcod...

Re: Instead of perfboard
I just use regular (square) copper clad FR4 PCB boards (1/16" thickness, better if you can get non-copper clad TBH). Just cut them down to as close to the original perfboard size (without the ears on top). Just use some clips for additional clamping. on the Plus, it's perfect TBH: It's not too big t...

Re: UPStudio G-code Tutorial
Anyone been brave enough to try this on anything other than an UPBOX+? Cheers, Owen S. As i said, no dice on a non-CPU-upgraded UP Plus 2... Loading G-Code from simplify3D does nothing (no blinking lights on the printer or any activity on the software), then after a while throws up an error (window...

Re: UPStudio G-code Tutorial
Have not been able to get it to work with my Up Plus 2 at the moment, Takes some time (no indications on the software or printer) then a window with the error: GCODE failed to run....
Does it need the newer Up Chip then? (because i havent upgraded...)

Re: UPStudio G-code Tutorial
Also it seems to lack the ideal settings for printing speeds? (anyone already has some tested numbers that work?)
Good start though.. Hopefully someone makes a profile for Cura or Slic3r as a free alternative (looking forward to using the variable layer height on the Prusa edition...)

Re: UP Studio vs Simplify3D
Not to be rude, but simply put the amount of control you get with Simplify3d makes Up Studio look like MS Paint to Adobe Photoshop. The amount of settings that are possible to tweak are huge from the extruder (nozzle, extrusion width, retraction, etc), movement (print speed per layers, rafts, wipe l...

Re: G-Code transcoder part 3 (printing objects)
Tested with UP Plus 2 (H) TypeID: 227B ROM: 6.0900 And Simplify3D, used the same settings in the 2nd post but changed the print area (140x140x135), and edited some parameters. Printed a Marvin keychain on Esun PETG (235C nozzle, 100C bed) But it works (holy cow :D )! THANKS FOR THIS (hopefully we ca...
