Up Mini abzugeben

Re: Console/MDI Input on Up! Mini
Hi Kai,
my code looks quite similar. I added a beep-countdown on the extrusion.
Also I increased the speed of extruder in 3 steps on withdraw and extrusion.
If any one is interested in the code I can upload it.
greetings

Console/MDI Input on Up! Mini
Hi there, I am using an UP! Mini with simplify3d and the G-Code Transcoder (thanks to mr_x). It works all fine and I am very Happy with that solution. Is there any way that I can use my UP! Mini via MDI Input? MDI (Manual Data Input) means that I can Input a single G-Code Line and directly transfer ...

Re: G-Code transcoder part 3 (printing objects)
Hi all... blame on me... As I am not an IT specialist I am struggling with the Nozzle height. I used Simplify with my Up! Mini. To set the Nozzle height I used a negative Origin Offset of 6.7mm. This used to work fine until I want to print with support. All the supports stops 6.7mm before my object....

Re: G-Code transcoder part 3 (printing objects)
Hi mr_x, thank a lot for sharing your work. I also wanted to use a sliced part on my UP! MINI. slicing and uploading was no problem. I set the build volume to x 120 y 120 z 123 The origin values are x 0 y 0 z 0 and all set to MIN. Whan the printer want to start the first Layer it moves the nozzle ag...

Re: UP Mini goes Bowden
Hi,
the wiring isn´t really nice on my built. Have to redesign some smaller parts. But my focus was on the function.
That´s why I didn´t post a complete overview.
Hope to get it to a functional design very soon and then reload some pics.
Greetings
Andreas

Re: Any experience with PET, PETG, HIPS, etc.?
Hi, I had some experience with PETG from Winbo (28€ kg). The result was quite similar to PLA. The print was very shiny, and also glassy to transparent. The Layerbond wasn´t that good and support/raft was not easy to remove. Warping didn´t happened on parts up to 80mm printsize. I used 230-240 °C Hot...

Re: UP Mini goes Bowden
Here is a quick print of a Raspberry Pi case ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922740 ) on PLA with 0,25mm Layer and speed normal with adjusted Layersettings. In the First picture you can see the hairy spots. The HoteEnd still spits material out of the nozzle when doing jumps. As I said I should in...

UP Mini goes Bowden
Dear community, after struggeling with PLA prints I refit my UP Mini to a Bowden Extruder. Another reason was that I wanted to experiment with different Nozzles. As the UP Mini has Nozzles with inside threads I wanted to be able using "standard" Nozzles with M6 outside thread. And of course I did it...

Re: WORKING: SOFTWARE TEMP MOD - ADJUSTABLE LAYER HEIGHTS !
Hi zonosoft... I refitted my original UP! Mini Printerhead with an asian one. I was absolutely frustated not getting any succesfull print with PLA anymore (had the Temp-mod / Software-mod / New spool holder / extra fans and cooling segments). I am using a 0,4mm nozzle (have also a 0,2 / 0,3 / 0,5) a...

Re: Endlich PLA auf UP! Mini

Re: Endlich PLA auf UP! Mini
Verzweiflung.....

Re: WORKING: SOFTWARE TEMP MOD - ADJUSTABLE LAYER HEIGHTS !
Hi, my experience with 0,1mm printing is to set the field Scan Scale Hatch Scale Support Scale to 50% of original value. In my case: Scan Scale - 0.5 Hatch Scale - 0.525 Support Scale - 0.45 You can roughly double ckeck this if you make a print previev with a model at original 0.2mm settings. Write ...

Re: WORKING: SOFTWARE TEMP MOD - ADJUSTABLE LAYER HEIGHTS !
Oh my god... you are a genius. I already tried 0,15mm on my Mini without any issues. Whatabout if I go deeper into settings like the scan speed. Will it automaticly compensate the feed of my filament? You know what I mean? Or do I have to balance it manually? Could you add a help feature on your SW ...

Re: Spoolholder MOD
Hi roller, thanks for the advice with the foam. I planned to add a filament cleaner anyway to my system. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067 I had this case once with a bad filament. The filament was completely twisted on the spool. And it suddenly unrolled a few meters on the spool. But with ot...

Re: Heatbed Temp MOD
No, not yet. The NC thermal resistance gives out a 50 M Ohm resistance if it reaches the temperature. And if I just interrupt the circuit I simulate a unlimited resistance. That means that the 12V won´t flow through the board. In the Software the UP! is shown with 60°C on the bed no matter what temp...

Hi Marcus,

Heatbed Temp MOD
Hi there, I want to share my Hardware Mod for my UP! Mini I´ve realized so far. My intention was to be able to print PLA with the UP! Mini. To be able to have control of the HeatBed temp I soldered an additional 80°C thermal resistance on the 60°C one. IMG_5052.JPG I used a switch with 3 Positions. ...
