Re: Have printer a few months. Still no good heating solutio

I am really heartbroken, I just called the local shop to tell them that this printer actually shouldn't be sold if it makes it so difficult to print decent stuff. They said they 'want to take a look at it' but they won't do a temperature mod for me. I would never be able to try it myself because I w...

Have printer a few months. Still no good heating solution

I have been trying to print succesful things for months now, using the UP! mini. My first spool is almost gone just because of testing, but only because I have a major heating problem. My platform is calibrated and I have tried putting a piece of paper between my nozzle and the platform. People have...

Horizontal warping / print resolution?

Hi everyone. I have posted a thread (like many people before me) a few days ago with the question why I get warping on the UP! mini doing slighty bigger prints than 5cm (about 8 cm), sometimes just in random places. I'm still not sure if this is my own or the machine's fault. After doing a lot of re...

Re: Raft doesn't stick anymore

Okay, I think I might need some serious help. I looked through the forum some more (the search function seems to be broken for one reason or another) so I only just now got to read some really long threads about what different people have done about the same problem. I just printed again now while h...

Re: Raft doesn't stick anymore

Hi Peter, thanks for your reply. I'd like to say that I have read the manial several times, but I have to admit I don't find it absolutely clear at times. I do know that I can 'move' the nozzle as well as 'setting' it. So before printing, I put 121.8 in the position box in the maintenance dialog and...

Re: Hello from Belgium

Okay. I only fear this will implement that I fiddle with the cables inside of the machine which I kind of want to avoid because (using the excuse of being a woman) I'm a bit of a noob. If I could get clear directions I think I could figure it out though :D anyone cares to make clear what I need and ...

Re: Raft doesn't stick anymore

I always search the forum before considering posting my own topic. This is also the reason why I mention the solutions stated, I have found these inside of this forum. So, I found that for someone it helped to adjust nozzle height, and for someone else to use hairspray to make the board more sticky....

Raft doesn't stick anymore

Hi everyone, I am printing atm and have had a number of succesful first prints. I read that after a while, it could happen that the platform doesn't stick that well anymore. And I think that's happening with me. I also read that a solution could be to re-adjust the nozzle height. But I did, and I do...

Hello from Belgium

Hello everyone! I am Caroline, 24, a graphic designer from Belgium (am I the only Belgian over here or what?) and recently bought a UP! mini. I installed it all by myself, which might not be a big achievement - at least for me it is . I already printed some things as far as my knowledge from Ci...
